The Jeddah Institute for Speech and Hearing, in cooperation with the Saudi Society of Speech Pathology & Audiology (SSSPA) and King Saud University, organized a public event on the occasion of the International  Hearing Day and Cochlear Implantation, on Tuesday, 1^st March 2022. The event included several public awareness lectures on cochlear implants and aural-verbal rehabilitation, in addition to an exhibition in which major hearing and cochlear implant companies in the Kingdom participated. Several activities and competitions were organized for children with hearing impairments and their families, and gifts and prizes were distributed, in addition to a variety of entertainment for children presented by McDonald’s Company in the Western Region.
